Graeme Edwards is the Course Coordinator of SEC601, Introduction to Cyber Security and SEC704, Digital Crime Scene Management.
Graeme has been a police officer for approximately 26 years, with 20 of those operating as a Detective. He has spent approximately 15 years with the Queensland Police Service conducting investigations into financial and cybercrime.
After completing a Masters of Information Technology (Security), Graeme went on to complete a Doctorate of Information Technology with a research focus on investigating cybercrime in a cloud computing environment. The synergistic nature of Graeme's practical policing experience and his research findings gives USC students a unique insight into the cybercrime environment and the development of sophisticated investigation strategies.
Graeme is the author of The Cybercrime Investigators Handbook (2019), a resource of practical knowledge in the investigation of cybercrime and the location of evidence.
