Lauren Den Ouden

Dr Lauren Den Ouden is an AHPRA registered clinical neuropsychologist. At USC's Thompson Institute, Lauren supports the Healthy Brain Ageing Clinic's research delivery and helps expand neuropsychological services at the institute.

Lauren has experience working across multiple settings, including research, teaching and clinical roles. Her main research interest in the past has been the use of lifestyle interventions (e.g. exercise, meditation) to improve brain health and functioning in individuals with compulsive behaviours. Clinically, she has experience working with a broad range conditions affecting cognitive functioning, including dementia, traumatic brain injury and developmental disorders.

Lauren’s specialist areas of knowledge include neuropsychology, cognition, psychological wellbeing and lifestyle.
