Jessica is a part-time an associate lecturer in the occupational therapy program. Jessica balances her part-time university appointment with clinical practice in the practice area of acute mental health settings. Jessica has clinical experience within a range of mental health settings including specialised care of mood disorders, intensive outreach for persons with complex mental health disorders, inpatient, acute care and emergency.
Jessica is a USC alumni and has completed her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy and Bachelor of Science (Honours) at the university. She is a confirmed PhD Candidate at USC with the focus on leisure and time use in acute mental health inpatient settings.
Jessica is a current member of the Australia and New Zealand Occupational Therapy Mental Health Academics (ANZOTMHA) and is actively involved in the USC community. Jessica is highly motivated to provide quality teaching and support students as emerging occupational therapists in the field that is evidence informed. Jessica has an interest in policy and quality improvement of services for mental health consumers.
