Lauren Den Ouden

Lauren Den Ouden is an AHPRA registered psychologist and clinical neuropsychology registrar. After completing her doctoral studies, she joined the Sunshine Coast Mind & Neuroscience – Thompson Institute in 2020. Her role involves supporting the research implementation and delivery of the Healthy Brain Ageing Program and facilitating the expansion of neuropsychological services within the institute.

Lauren has experience working across multiple settings, including research, teaching and clinical roles. Her main research interest in the past has been the use of lifestyle interventions (e.g. exercise, meditation) to improve brain health and functioning in individuals with compulsive behaviours. Clinically, she has experience working with a broad range conditions affecting cognitive functioning, including dementia, traumatic brain injury and developmental disorders.
