Tyrone Huckstepp

Tyrone is an AHPRA registered general psychologist (clinical registrar) at USC's Thompson Institute, working across projects that include the Healthy Brain Ageing Clinic and the EMERALD wellbeing program.

Tyrone's special interests include sleep problems and anxiety disorders which he applies through his work as a wellbeing clinician with the EMERALD Program. Tyrone is also interested in disorders eating behaviour. His honour’s thesis explored the factors contributing to eating behaviour in the context of a commercial weightl oss intervention and his master’s thesis explored the relationship between positive schemas and eating disorders symptomatology.

Tyrone received a Bachelor of Nutrition from USC in 2016, a Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology) with Honours (Class 1) in 2018 and a Master of Psychology (Clinical) in 2021.
