This 24 hours a day/7 days a week service is the main point of access into public mental health services, is staffed by trained and experienced professional mental health clinicians and can provide:
- support, information, advice and referral
- advice and information in a mental health emergency or crisis
- mental health triage and refer to acute care teams where appropriate.

Sunshine Coast University Hospital, Acute Adolescent Inpatient Unit, Birtinya - 5202 3277 (24 hours a day/7 days a week)
UniSC Psychology Clinic provides mental health services to the community and also functions as an advanced teaching, training and research facility for 5th year postgraduate students (Provisional Psychologists). The Clinic sees clients from age 6 years and upwards for psychological treatment or cognitive assessment. USC is able to offer this service free of charge.
