Telling someone or telling on someone

Most youths will experience situations in which they are unsure if they should 'tell on' a person who is not doing the right thing.

It is important for them to understand that there is a difference between telling on someone and telling someone.

A youth's brain helps them make this decision based on their past experiences and current thoughts, but sometimes parts of the brain can make the decision confusing.

We've published an article in Frontiers for Young Minds science journal that helps youths understand this process and make sounds decisions about when to 'speak up'.
