In this course, you will study the recording studio environment focusing on Multimedia. You will work in exploring the composer’s world, through conversation, listening and the creation of a short film score. You will investigate the world of sound effect (SFX) and their placement in the recording session. You will use storyboards to examine the emotional aspect of a film. You will analyse the structure of film by considering the musical choices. You will watch selected films to discuss and analyse the use of the music.
