MyPrint - Print, Copy, Scan

The MyPrint App installed on all UniSC printers is being upgraded, one printer at a time, between February and April, 2024. The content on this page will be updated to reflect the new MyPrint app experience, as soon as all printers, across all campuses, have been upgraded.

Overview

MyPrint is the self-serve printing system for UniSC staff, students and guests/community members. There is a MyPrint app installed on each printer that delivers a follow me printing experience, to copy, scan and print confidentially at any printer, at any time, at any campus.

UniSC students and staff
  • All staff and student UniSC computers are automatically configured and ready to print, so you don't need to install or set up anything.
  • Your access to MyPrint happens automatically, and you can begin printing as soon as you have a UniSC username and password.
Guests/community members
  • Visit Guest Printing for everything you need to know about guest printing facilities and services.

    • You no longer have to add your email address to the address book.
    • You can still select to type in a different email address, however we recommend as best practice, to email the scan to yourself and forward the email with the scan attached to your desired recipient - so if the recipient replies, you recive the reply.

  • New Copy and Scan experience
    • To access the copier and scanner, login the MyPrint app and then select Copy or Scan.
    • New, easier to use, Copy and Scanner apps will be available to use.

How to print

When you send your files to print, from a UniSC computer or from your own device, your job job sits in the queue for 24 hours, waiting for you to release it from any any printer, any time at any campus.

NOTE: The Black or Colour print properties are default to double-sided to reduce waste and make printing more sustainable and environmentally friendly. Refer to How to change your print properties to print single-sided.
