Moderator Details:

Kathryn Giudes

Kathryn Giudes has over 15 years’ experience in IT, working in technical and business roles at Microsoft Corp and Amazon Corp. She has almost a decade of experience as a Non-Executive Director of ASX listed and private companies in Australia and is the Founder and Managing Director of macroDATA Digital Solutions, a company that enables Australian businesses to be secure and compliant in today’s high risk cyber landscape and utilises AI capability to enable sophisticated regulatory, standards and contractual compliance for SME businesses.

An accomplished professional who possesses a wealth of experience as a multi-dimensional thinker and strategist, Kathryn has consistently showcased her capacity for driving noteworthy business advancements in areas including:

  • Business Strategy & Planning, with an emphasis on optimising Internet capability that is fit-for-purpose to the business goals, having facilitated both start-ups and well-established corporations in achieving their digital aspirations, securely with no cyber breaches.

Dr Karen Sutherland

Dr. Karen Sutherland is a Senior Lecturer in Public Relations at the University of the Sunshine Coast and a Certified AI Consultant. She co-founded Dharana Digital Marketing Agency and specialises in using AI for strategic communication. Dr. Karen has a track record of guiding organisations in leveraging AI to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Locally she has provided AI guidance to Eumundi Markets, Noosa Council and Empire Art Photography. Her accolades include the 2023 Book Excellence Award in Public Relations and multiple Stevie Awards in 2022. She has designed and delivered training and workshops globally for over a decade across various sectors including health, small business, and education. Her research spans B2B relationships, social media practice, and pedagogy. Dr. Karen authored the widely downloaded 'Strategic Social Media Management – Theory and Practice'. She is preparing her next book, 'AI for Strategic Communication,' due for 2025 release. Dr. Karen also features in top-tier journals and media like The Wall Street Journal and ABC News Breakfast.

He holds a Degree in Computer Science and Engineering, a Graduate Certificate in IT and Masters in Cybersecurity and Networks.
