*Not offered until Semester 1, 2027. Health professional students will explore challenges and complexities of delivering health care services in regional, rural, and remote areas, be orientated to different service delivery models (e.g. telehealth, skill sharing, extended scope) and develop skills in providing health care in a safe but flexible manner in consultation with other health professionals. Students will reflect on, and extend their cultural capabilities of respect, communication, safety and quality, reflection, and advocacy in relation to providing health care services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
