* Not offered until Semester 2, 2025. This course will build on PTY100 Introduction to Physiotherapy Practice A. Students will assess passive range of movement, muscle strength and length, and begin to interpret findings and suggest implications for treatment. Principles of exercise prescription in relation to pain, reduced range of movement, muscle weakness, and lack of flexibility will be introduced. Students will also be orientated to different roles and responsibilities of allied health assistants and learn how they can support allied health professionals in their care of clients in clinical practice.
