At UniSC, we offers a range of scholarship opportunities to our international students.
In addition to the scholarships listed below, international students should also check with their home institution and government to find out if other scholarship options are available to them.
In 2023, UniSC offers two exciting scholarships to its commencing international students.
There is no separate scholarship application - Your offer will automatically include the scholarship you are eligible for.
International Student Scholarship
The International Student Scholarship is a 15% tuition fee reduction offered to commencing international students in 2023.
English Excellence Scholarship
The English Excellence Scholarship is a 20% tuition fee reduction that is awarded to international students who have achieved higher than required results in a recognised English language proficiency test. Refer to the table in the terms and conditions to determine if you are eligible.
Terms and Conditions
The International Student Scholarship and the English Excellence Scholarship apply to the officially scheduled and published tuition fees for the relevant program and study period.
The International Student Scholarship and the English Excellence Scholarship are available to international students commencing in 2023. They cannot be deferred past a 2023 intake.
The International Student Scholarship and the English Excellence Scholarship are valid for the duration of the program/s for which an offer was made.
To be eligible for the English Excellence Scholarship, students must achieve minimum specified results in one of three recognised English proficiency tests: IELTS Academic, TOEFL iBT, or PTE. The English Excellence Scholarship is not available to students enrolling in a UniSC English language program.
Neither the International Student Scholarship nor the English Excellence Scholarship can be used in conjunction with other UniSC international scholarships or tuition fee reductions (eg partner discount).
To remain eligible for the International Student Scholarship or the English Excellence Scholarship, students must continue to be classed as international students.
Individual Schools may also offer prizes and awards to high achieving students.
The Australia Awards aim to promote knowledge, education links, and enduring ties between Australia and our neighbours through Australia's extensive scholarship programs. There are no limitations to the field of study, however preference is given to applications where there is a clear reason for study to be undertaken in Australia.
