How to apply

Thinking about your future?

Applications for 2022 are open now.

How you apply depends on your personal circumstances and the kind of study you want to undertake.

Apply through QTAC

Applications for most undergraduate degrees go through the Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre (QTAC). This includes applications for current Year 12 students and mature-age students.

Before you apply, check that you meet the entry requirements for your chosen program. QTAC will assess your application on USC's behalf to see whether you can be made an offer.

If you're a mature-age student, find out about entry requirements and what qualifications can give you a selection rank.

Note: QTAC applications are for domestic students only. If you are an International applicant, visit International students.

Apply direct to USC

Some people are eligible to apply direct to USC. This includes current TPP students, former students who have had an enrolment at USC within the past two years, or people applying for a place in an undergraduate certificate.

To find out if you are eligible, visit Apply direct to USC.

If you are eligible, you can apply online via the ApplyUSC portal.

If you're a current USC student and want to change your program of study, visit How to change your program.

Apply for postgraduate study

If you want to apply for a graduate certificate, graduate diploma or master's program, apply direct to USC.
