Early Offer Guarantee gives you the chance to receive an offer to study at UniSC as early as September, long before ATARs and final results are released so you can head into your final school exams knowing you’re sorted for 2025.
How does it work?
The offer is made based on your school Principal's recommendation and is independent of your Year 12 results. Your Principal will consider your academic performance, as well as your motivation, talents, passions, and abilities to see if these are a match for success at university. If your Principal recommends you for the Early Offer Guarantee, then as long as you have met the prerequisites and other program-specific requirements for your chosen degree, you’ll receive an early offer to study an eligible program at UniSC.
All offers made before the last day of school will be conditional on you completing Year 12, so make sure you keep going to school and do your best in your exams.
To be considered for the Early Offer Guarantee, applicants must be current Year 12 students attending a school within Australia that has opted-in to participate in the initiative.

Key dates
For Semester 1, 2024
1 August 2024 – Applications open.
7 October 2024 – Deadline for students to submit application to their school.
11 October 2024 – Deadline for UniSC to receive school’s approved applications. Applications must be accompanied by a copy of the student’s most recent progress report or report card. Late applications will not be accepted.
Offer dates: 6 September, 20 September, 4 October, 18 October, 15 November.
How do I apply?
Choose from more than 100 undergraduate programs on offer at UniSC. If you're not sure which degree you would like to study, you can use the career directory to help you plan your career path.
Remember, you need to meet all the subject prerequisites and other program specific requirements for your chosen program.
Exceptions: The Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Accelerated), Bachelor of Dietetics (Honours), Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours), Bachelor of Medical Science, Bachelor of Midwifery and Bachelor of Music are not available via this program.
Complete the Early Offer Guarantee application form and meet with the Early Offer Guarantee Coordinator within your school.
The 2025 application form will be available from August.
In your Early Offer Guarantee application form, you'll need to nominate the UniSC program you want to study. This must match your first preference on your QTAC application, so don't forget to start and submit your QTAC application at the same time you apply for Early Offer Guarantee.
Early Offer Guarantee offers are only made for Semester One only; however you can defer your place for a maximum of one year (excluding Undergraduate Certificate programs).
Submit your application, with a copy of your most recent progress report or report card, to your school coordinator before 7 October 2024. Make sure you also submit your QTAC application to QTAC.
If you are applying for an Education program, you must complete an online questionnaire including two written statements. QTAC will send you information about how to complete the questionnaire and statements when you submit your QTAC application. For more information visit the QTAC website and search ‘teacher entry’.
If you are applying for Nursing Science, you must submit a declaration about how you meet the English language proficiency requirements. QTAC will send you information about how to submit your declaration.
We will be making offers on the following dates: 6 September, 20 September, 4 October, 18 October and 15 November.
When your application has been finalised, you will receive notifications via email from QTAC and from UniSC with all the info you need to enrol in your classes and get ready for a flying start to your first semester at UniSC.
If you receive your offer between September and October, it will be conditional on you completing Year 12 so make sure you keep going to school and complete your exams.
If you have applied for one of the following programs, your offer will also be conditional on meeting the subject prerequisites and other program specific requirements, as all students must meet these before commencing study:
- Computer Science
- Education (all programs)
- Engineering (all programs)
- Laws (all programs)
- Nursing Science
- Occupational Therapy (Honours)
We will confirm whether you have met the requirements once Year 12 results are released in December. As long as you have met the requirements you will be able to continue in your program.
