Parking
Free public parking is available in the Claymore Road car park (CP22) or throughout the rest of the UniSC campus (turn off Sippy Downs Drive near Coles). Event parking is not permitted in the Service Centre opposite Chancellor State College.
UniSC carparks 19, 20 and 21 are closed to public parking.
Accessible parking and VIP parking will be located at Chancellor State College; please contact ticketing to arrange access.
The taxi and drop off zone are also located at Chancellor State College.
Transport
Information on public transport to UniSC Arena and UniSC Sunshine Coast campus. If using public transport, do what makes you comfortable and take precautions to keep yourself safe.
Bicycle racks can be found on the Western side of the UniSC Arena, next to the UniSC Athletics Track.
Ticketing and accreditation
Purchase tickets online to the game. A ticketing and accreditation marquee will be set up external to the venue entry for all of your ticketing and accreditation queries.
Entry
Entry to the UniSC Arena will be via the Western side of the UniSC Arena, next to the UniSC Athletics Track. Please note upon entry, security staff will be undertaking bag checks prior to your ticket being scanned.
Patrons must follow all signage, bollards and bunting that direct flow of pedestrian traffic to prevent prolonged congregation at the event. Remember social distancing when queuing at the entry and doors.

Food and beverage
A variety of hot and cold food will be available for purchase at the venue. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage are also available for purchase from the public bar in the Activation Zone (18+ photo identification must be shown to purchase alcoholic beverages).
Merchandise
Make sure you are decked out in all the Lightning colours in 2024! New Balance will be at all Lightning home games, where you will be able to find all of the merchandise your heart desires. If something is worth doing, it is worth looking good, so make sure you head to the New Balance merchandise tent to show your true Lightning colours.
UniSC Arena
There are four entry points – the Northern Gate (closest to the pool end), the Southern Gate and two Eastern Gate entries. Your ticket will indicate North, South or East with each stand then broken down into aisles which are signed within the UniSC Arena. While the action on-court will be red-hot, the Stadium itself can be quite cool. The air conditioning system works perfectly, so if you feel the cold, we suggest you bring something warm to wear! If you’re bringing a pram, please ensure to leave it in the pram storage area located at the Southern entrance – prams cannot be left in the aisle ways.
Leaving the UniSC Arena after the games
When leaving the UniSC Arena, please check around your seats to ensure that you have taken all personal items and rubbish with you.
Please be patient when exiting the car parks in your vehicle, as we expect some delay with high vehicle traffic departing the event precinct. Please follow directions of the traffic controllers.
