April Martin is a Registered Nurse with over 17 years of experience in nursing. She currently works as a Lecturer of Nursing for USC and prior to that was a Lecturer of Nursing for the University of Southern Queensland. She has a strong clinical and management background within medical/surgical intensive care both here in Australia and in the United States of America. She has worked in other areas of nursing such as paediatrics, well mom/baby, medical and surgical nursing.
Her research interests presently lie in the enhancement of the undergraduate nursing students’ experience within the clinical placement environment.

Students to do clinical placements in Indo-Pacific15 October 2019
Forty-five Nursing Science students from four USC campuses will complete clinical placements in Indonesia, starting from this month, with funding support from the Australian Government’s New Colombo Plan Mobility Program.
