Laura has a strong interest in driver psychology and investigating the factors that influence and contribute to dangerous driving behaviour.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology) (Honours) at the University of the Sunshine Coast in 2020 and has been working as a research assistant with the RSRC since December 2019. In this time, Laura has been involved in a range of projects relating to mobile phone use, speeding, and impaired driving.
Her current projects as a research assistant are focused on the factors related to fatal traffic injuries, drug driving and the influence of social media on traffic offending behaviours.
