Trish Howard promotes and gains public participation in the Thompson Institute’s ground-breaking mental health initiatives, spanning research, clinical services, education, and the award-winning The Alliance for Suicide Prevention - Sunshine Coast.
Trish is an experienced communications, marketing and engagement professional, who has dedicated her career to organisations that contribute positively to the community, including in local government, tertiary education and the media.
Her main area of interest and expertise is communications that support positive social change and behavioural choices.
Board positions include as Chair of the Fair Trade Association of Australia and New Zealand, a trans-Tasman organisation that advocates for socially sustainable trade practices.
Trish holds a Bachelor of Design and Marketing from USC and enjoys applying the high-quality education the University provided her and the professional experience it afforded her to the University’s efforts at the Thompson Institute.
