Eve Jorgensen Regional Study Support Bursary

Scholarship applications for Semester 2, 2024 are now open and will close on 31 May 2024.

Applicants will be notified of the outcome of their applications by Friday, 30 August 2024.

This bursary aims to support undergraduate Paramedic and Occupational Therapy students undertaking rural, remote or regional compulsory clinical placements in their third or fourth year of study at UniSC.

The bursary funds are intended to provide support to students with their travel, accommodation and living expenses incurred during their placement, and/or to supplement lost income during the unpaid placement period.

Each bursary will be valued at $5,000. Ten (10) bursaries will be available to Occupational Therapy students in Semester 1, 2024 and ten (10) bursaries will be available to Paramedic students in Semester 2, 2024.

Eligibility
  • full-time undergraduate student
  • third or fourth year student enrolled in a Bachelor of Paramedicine or Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours)
  • undertaking an approved work placement in a rural, remote or regional location
  • minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) 5.0
  • permanent resident of Australia, Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen or permanent Australian Humanitarian Visa holder
