Two weeks until Orientation

There are lots of things to look forward to in the first few weeks, starting with your Orientation. On this page, you will discover everything you need to know about how to prepare for study, what happens at Orientation and some top tips from current students.

Start your uni experience

Orientation is a special part of your university experience. It gives you the opportunity to explore your campus, learn all about your program, and meet students who will be studying alongside you, so you can feel confident when classes start the following week.

Whether you're studying with us on campus or online, attend sessions, workshops and events that set you up for the uni experience you want.

The Orientation program will be released at the start of February. You can expect a range of on campus and online sessions that will take you through:

  • your program information and introduction to your teachers,
  • an overview of UniSC's IT systems, what they are used for and how you can connect to them,
  • the skills you need to get the best results from your classes,
  • various activities so you can make new uni friends,
  • the different Student clubs and volunteering opportunities that you can get involved in, and
  • the different teams that are here to help you when you need it, like Learning Advisers who can help with tough assignments or Career Advisers who can help you on your career journey even in your first year.
