Bernadine Caruana

Bernadine is an experienced leader with over two decades working on education, science, research, and industry development policy and programs, both in Australia and overseas.

Bernadine currently works for the Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources where she has led work on the portfolio’s key flagship initiatives – the National Reconstruction Fund, the Modern Manufacturing Strategy, the R&D Tax Incentive, the Entrepreneurs Programme and the National Innovation and Science Agenda. She has recently completed secondments with IP Australia and the Aboriginal Employment Strategy.

Bernadine holds a Graduate Certificate of Management from the Australian National University and a Bachelor of Economics (Honours) from La Trobe University.
