Associate Professor Maria Raciti uses marketing tools and techniques for the greater good—being the active pursuit of equity, social justice and betterment. Dr Raciti’s main research areas are social marketing, services marketing and higher education. Associate Professor Maria Raciti is a 2019 Adjunct Fellow with the National Centre for Student Equity in Higher Education and was part of a 2019 departmental taskforce with the Australian Government Department of Education assisting the ‘Napthine Review’ expert advisory group. Dr Raciti is a Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK), was the 2018 Research Fellow with the National Centre for Student Equity in Higher Education, and is co-leader of two research groups being the USC Indigenous Studies Research Theme and the USC Transcultural and Indigenous Pedagogies Research Group. From 2020 these two research groups will come together as the USC Indigenous and Transcultural Research Centre with Maria as the Director.
