Role
The Technical Officer (Engineering Support) is part of the engineering technical support team that contributes to the delivery of the FoSHEE academic programs through the provision of technical services in both teaching and research laboratories. The Technical Officer (Engineering Support) coordinates this team and ensures the provision of these technical services to support undergraduate engineering courses and research in the School of Science and Engineering.
Under guidance from academic staff, the Technical Officer establishes and implements best practice construction engineering processes and systems and ensures safe practices and effective support for academic programs and activities in the discipline of Engineering and related physical sciences.
