Program Overview

The Bachelor of Business develops skills applicable to many areas of employment and provides you with a general education on which to build a lifetime career.

Our Business degree has six specialist areas from which you could choose:

  • Accounting
  • International Business
  • Information Systems
  • Marketing
  • Management (including Human Resource Management)
  • Tourism

You can also complement your business studies by studying courses in other faculties. For example, you can add a language, business communication, computer-based art and design, or ecosystem management.

Career Outcomes

Knowledge and skills acquired through the Bachelor of Business are transferable across many sectors such as government, education, the arts, commerce, and industry. Depending on minor and majors chosen, opportunities exist in:

Advanced Courses

Choose 16 courses from the majors and minors course list.

A maximum of 4 elective courses may be included, which may be undertaken from the Faculty of Business or from the Faculties of Arts and Social Sciences or Science.

Program Requirements and Notes

1. No more than 10 introductory level courses are to be completed, including Core Courses, in the Bachelor of Business.
