Event Management is an exciting and rapidly expanding field of interest. This course is built upon an understanding of the base body of knowledge, theory and methodology that underpins modern event management. The course uses case studies to provide a contemporary context for examining best practice in event management. This course provides a succinct overview of event management activities with a particular accent on tourism and corporate events such as conferences, trade exhibitions and product launches. Candidates taking this course should be able to blend creative instincts with a project management commercial outcome orientation.
