PUB707 Public Health Foundations

This is a foundation course to develop specialised knowledge and skills in new public health in Australian and global contexts. The new public health is a multidisciplinary, concerned with the protection and promotion of the health and wellbeing of populations. You will explore inequities and inequalities, and the range of individual, social and environmental level determinants that influence the health and wellbeing of people. You will apply foundation public health concepts to investigate complex public health priorities from an ecological, salutogenic and social justice perspective.
