When applications open for the semester/session you chose to commence study, you will receive an email to let you know the steps to follow to complete your application to take up a deferred place. After you have received this email, you will be able to log in to our enrolment system, USC Central, using your username and password provided in your email. Select the ‘Tasks’ tile and complete the ‘Take up a deferred place’ task. Once you’ve done this, you will be sent a new offer via email.
IMPORTANT: Submit your application before the due date as applications received after the due date may not be considered for all programs. Some programs may close early, without notice.
What happens after you submit your application?
After your application has been processed, you will be sent an offer email to your nominated email address. Your offer email will give you information about getting started at USC.
Want to change campus when you take up your deferred place?
You can request to study your program at any USC campus that the program is available at when you complete your application to take up a deferred place. Your request will be assessed and if approved, your new offer will be for your new campus. If your request is not approved, your new offer will be for your original campus.
Want to change the semester/session you start study?
If you would like to change the semester/session you want to commence study in, login to USC Central using the login details on your original offer email and follow the below steps:
- Go to the ‘Tasks’ tile
