All applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application by 27 March 2026.
The Buranga Centre Summer Enrolment Scholarship will assist Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students to meet the costs of living while studying.
These scholarships are for Indigenous undergraduate degree students enrolled in a Commonwealth-supported program at UniSC and will be available subject to funding from the Federal Government.
The Buranga Centre Summer Enrolment Scholarship assists Indigenous students to meet the costs of living while studying.
Recipients will receive $2,500 over two study periods ($1,250 per study period). Payments will be made as a lump sum approximately 3 weeks after the Census Date.
- Eligibility
- identifying as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person
- enrolled full-time in any undergraduate degree program at UniSC (or part-time, where there are exceptional circumstances preventing full-time enrolment)
- has not previously completed the requirements of an undergraduate degree program
- evidence of financial need
- applying to study at UniSC from 1 December 2025 for Study Period 1, 2026
