Applications are now closed for Semester 1, 2021.
Selections will be held in January/February with all applicants being notified of the outcome of their application by Friday, 26 February 2021.
Through the Fund, the Rotary Club of Aspley will support tertiary education for students who demonstrate academic potential but face financial and other barriers to completing an undergraduate degree. The Glen Kinross Rotary Scholarship will support an eligible student who graduated from a high school within the Australian Mainland catchment area of Rotary District 9600 to undertake study at the USC Moreton Bay campus.
The Glen Kinross Rotary Scholarship aims to offset living and study related costs, giving the recipient the freedom to focus on their education without having to work excessive hours, removing some of the barriers that may hinder academic achievement.
One new scholarship will be awarded every second year, commencing in Semester 1, 2021. The Scholarship will be paid in eight fortnightly instalments of A$250 (A$2,000 per semester) for up to six (6) semesters of study.
Please Note: This scholarship is offered on a yearly basis through funds provided by an external donor. If funding is not available in any given year, the scholarship will not be awarded.
