Emeritus Professor Paul Thomas and Ms Anita Grunau aim to support tertiary education for a USC student who demonstrates outstanding academic potential but face financial or other barriers to completing a degree.
The Emeritus Professor Paul and Anita Grunau Scholarship will be awarded in Semester 1, 2021 and will assist one (1) eligible USC student commencing an undergraduate program at USC with a scholarship valued at $5,000 per annum for the standard duration of their degree, up to a maximum of 5 years or $25,000. The scholarship will offset living and study related costs, giving students the freedom to focus on their education without having to work excessive hours, ultimately helping to remove the barriers that may hinder academic achievement.
** Bonus ranks applied as a result of any scheme will NOT apply for the purposes of awarding scholarships
Please note: This scholarship is offered on a yearly basis through funds provided by an external donor. If funding is not available in any given year, the scholarship will not be awarded.
