Indigenous Charter

USC is committed to building meaningful partnerships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders and their communities. An Indigenous Charter is under development to embed and progress this commitment in all aspects of life at USC.

An Indigenous Charter provides the flexibility to support new and innovative approaches to strengthening meaningful partnerships.

It will reflect the University’s expanding footprint into new communities and increasing opportunities for genuine and close partnership, engagement in co-research and community capacity exchange.

An Indigenous Charter is a natural next step from previous reconciliation action plans.

The Indigenous Charter is due to be completed by the end of 2021 and will be available here.
