The BASC Lab provides those studying the Bachelor of Urban Design and Town Planning (Honours) and Higher Degree by Research (Masters by Research and PhD) with the opportunity to explore and develop practical knowledge regarding urban climate and microclimate design and planning.
Climate data collection, data analysis, computer simulations and real-world experiments in the lab allow students to critically assess the main factors affecting the climatic and environmental performance of public urban spaces.
