The rising cost of living is taking a heavy toll on many of our students, affecting their housing, academic performance, and overall mental wellbeing. And while the impact is being felt across the board, some are struggling more than others, including those from low socio-economic backgrounds and students with dependents - often women and single parents.
Through our Giving Day, we aim to raise funds to help support our students. These funds will go directly towards study support bursaries in the upcoming semester to relieve financial stress, so they can focus more on their studies, future careers, and a better tomorrow not just for themselves, but for their families and their communities.

I'm Rachael Thurlow, a 44-year-old single mum of five, and I can't thank you enough for the life-changing financial support. After two decades dedicated to motherhood, I made the bold decision to embark on a new career path as a registered nurse. The past year was a challenging adjustment as a single mum juggling household responsibilities, work, and university studies. Your contribution means the world to me. Your support ensures I can focus on my studies without worrying about financial stress. As a dedicated single mum, I make every dollar count. Thank you for believing in me and my journey.
