More information

As a Student Ambassador, you will be the public face of UniSC. You will represent the university at events and speak with prospective students about their study options. This may include:

To be successful, you must:

Important dates

Student Ambassadors perform an important role in university event delivery. To apply, you must be available to attend the following key events.

You will also be asked to attend an interview and training sessions.

Payment and shifts

You will be employed by the University on a casual basis. You will be paid for shifts you complete and these will vary. You will be asked to submit your availability for upcoming work. Shifts are a minimum of 1 hour and may be up to 10 hours or more. As work involves high school students, you may find you are busiest within school terms.

Equipment and transport

You will be provided with a uniform, including a shirt, name badge and lanyard. A UniSC car will be provided for you to drive from campus to your jobs where appropriate. You will be responsible for your own transport to and from the campus where your shift starts.

You will receive training sessions to develop university knowledge and learn about new programs and marketing activities. You will also be trained ‘on the job’ by accompanying more experienced ambassadors out in the field. You will receive a fortnightly update with essential information for work but you will also be expected to take a personal interest in keeping up to date with university knowledge, and engage with social media channels.
