Bob Sellars Nambour 76 Rotary Scholarship

Applications are now closed for Semester 1, 2020.

The Rotary Club of Nambour 76 seeks to support tertiary education for local Sunshine Coast students who demonstrate academic potential but face financial and other barriers to completing an undergraduate degree.

The Bob Sellars Nambour 76 Rotary Scholarship honours the memory of Rotarian Bob Sellars, who made a significant contribution to the local community throughout his life. The scholarship will support one (1) eligible USC student from the Nambour area with financial assistance valued at $5000 per annum for up to four years of full-time study. The scholarship aims to offset living and study related costs, giving the recipient the freedom to focus on their education without having to work excessive hours, removing some of the barriers that may hinder academic achievement.

Recipients will receive $5,000 per year as regular fortnightly payments for up to 4 years. The scholarship will be paid in 8 instalments each semester for up to 8 semesters.

Please Note:  This scholarship or bursary is offered on a yearly basis through funds provided by an external donor. If funding is not available in any given year, the scholarship or bursary will not be awarded.
