Postgraduate Course
Business Analytics (BA) involves analysing vastly increasing amounts of data in order to gain insight into existing performance and to assist in future planning. Furthermore, new sensor technology creates data to uncover new information and correlations that were previously unknown. This course is designed to provide managers with an understanding of business analytics and its underlying statistical methodologies, and how BA and Business Intelligence are interrelated. The course will use SPSS statistical software and make reference to IBM Cognos Insight as a business intelligence platform.
