Not offered until Semester 1, 2025. In this course you will determine the abilities, interests, and needs of young children as they prepare for formal schooling. You will use transitioning statements relevant to the sector and schools, to strengthen strategies that support families and promote positive experiences for children as they prepare for the challenges of a school environment. To develop knowledge about the early years school context, you will complete a 15-day Professional Experience (PEx) placement in a school, engaging with teachers and students in Prep to identify the details and complexities of being school ready.
