Marketing communication is a core strategic and tactical process through which organisations engage with customers and stakeholders. While it is central to promoting the value of products, services, and experiences, it also plays an essential role when organisations face challenges such as service failures, public criticism, or other reputational risks. In this course, students develop a solid theoretical and applied understanding of persuasive marketing communication across traditional and digital channels. You will explore how communication strategies are used both to build value and to respond appropriately during moments of organisational difficulty. Throughout the course, you will strengthen your research and communication skills, and apply these to create a practical, ethical, and well-reasoned marketing communication plan for a selected client brand.
