Not offered until Semester 1 2025 This course introduces you to clinical microbiology, which involves the detection of disease through the characterization of infectious microorganisms. You will learn about differential laboratory diagnosis of infectious disease caused by bacteria, fungi, protozoa and viruses. You will also study the principles of infection control and gain skills in isolation, identification and antimicrobial susceptibility testing.
