This minor explores significant socio-cultural, educational, historical and contemporary factors that have and will continue to shape the lives of First Nations peoples, families, cultures and communities. The interdisciplinary approach taken in this Minor is designed to enhance students’ understanding of a wide range of local, national and international issues and policies, as well as the diverse ways in which Indigenous peoples engage with, think about and document their worlds.
