Craig Cameron

Craig teaches and researches in labour law, regulation of business structures, corporate law, work-integrated learning (WIL), and professional skills development. Craig holds a PhD, Bachelor of Laws, and Bachelor of Business in Accounting from Griffith University, is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK), Adjunct Research Fellow (Law Futures Centre, Griffith University) and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Craig is also a lawyer with significant external and in-house experience, advising on corporate and employment issues. His expertise in teaching and professional skills development has been recognised by two Australian Learning and Teaching Council citations for outstanding contributions to student learning.

Craig’s current research interests lie in contemporary issues impacting labour law, and risk management in the context of WIL. He has recently been the recipient of research grants which have explored risk management for WIL in British Columbia (Canada), and the design of a risk management framework for financially supporting students to complete WIL experiences in Australia. Craig has 40 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters in the fields of labour law, learning and teaching and WIL. In terms of service, Craig currently sits on the editorial board of the International Journal of Work-Integrated Learning and is a director of two not-for-profit organisations.
