Help students reach their full potential

Scholarships and bursaries help hundreds of UniSC students each year.

Financial support encourages academic excellence and provides the security for many students to reach their full potential whilst giving them the freedom to focus on their study without working excessive hours.

Scholarships and bursaries can be established to recognise academic excellence and support students in financial need, or to assist students demonstrating sporting achievement or community involvement and leadership.

How donors and the community benefit

Donors have the satisfaction of knowing that their contribution is helping students achieve their goals through education. Providing quality tertiary education opportunities also helps build connections with regional business and industry groups, contributes to the local economy and helps keep the best and brightest students connected to the community.

Donors are acknowledged on the UniSC website, receive information and updates about their recipients, and have the opportunity to meet students and staff at UniSC events.

Establishing a scholarship

Creating a new scholarship is a simple process and UniSC Advancement Office can assist you to:

  • Decide on the type of award, value and name
  • Establish selection criteria
  • UniSC will create a simple agreement
  • The scholarship will be advertised and promoted on the UniSC website
  • UniSC will manage administration of the scholarship
